Such sparkling unity of sky and earth
breaks
the pattern of our hearts!

the fallen
lying at the feet
of marching ancestors

sunbeam messengers
light-ly caressing
feathery faeries…

we stand together
through thick and thin
married at birth
silently honouring wordless treaties

I speak
in wordless living language
read my vowels and consonants….

We come and we go

Stopping and starting like thieves
